Isaiah-Zavion Boozer (Playwright)
Isaiah Zavion Boozer (he/him) is a Multifaceted Alkebulan artist, Playwright, Director, Actor, accolade achieving screenwriter, a 2021 United States Presidential Scholar semifinalist (appointed by the White House), alumnus of the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, a 2021 National YoungArts winner as an actor, a 2022 TED speaker, a 2022 Kennedy Center Directing and Playwriting Intensive graduate, a 2023 Broadway Advocacy Coalition Cody Renard Richard Scholar, and amongst other things, a 2024 Sundance X YoungArts Fellow. Education: 2025 BFA in Playwriting (DePaul University)
Kevin Aoussou (Lead Producer)
Kevin Aoussou (he/him/his) is a Chicago based artist with a focus in community based collaborative practices. He is an Associate Director with Still Point Theatre Collective and the Founder of The Local Lab Collective. Kevin holds a Master's in Fine Arts in Acting from Northwestern University, and is a graduate of Winthrop University where he majored in theater performance and mass communications with a focus in broadcast journalism. Kevin works as an actor, director, producer, workshop developer, as well as teaching artist with several Chicago based organizations. Kevin is also the lead producer of the Social Change Theater Festival which will have it's second session in 2026!

Christopher Michael Richardson (he/him/his/anything respectful) is a multi-hyphenate theatre artist from Richmond, VA.

Victoria Cruz (Dramaturg/Cultural Consultant & Coach Lissa/Nana Lini)
Victoria Angelina Cruz (she/her), a Birmingham, Alabama native, is new Chicago transplant. She was most recently seen going up in Primary Trust at the Goodman Theatre as an understudy. She has also performed in the Shakespeare bar scene with Olde School Shakes and 420 Shakes. She will be seen in Refraction Theatres' performance of Dream Hou$e, as an understudy in the Fall of 2025. When she is not on stage she spends time coaching and providing audition prep for actors across the country and teaching underserved communities in the arts.
Isaiah Alexander (DeMarcus"Bobo"/Preacher)
Isaiah Alexander (he/him/his) is an Film-maker Actor artist. A southern California native, his artistic work intersects between the African-American and neurodivergent experience. Recent Northwestern Credits include: Museum by Tina Howe, an adaptation of Orlando by Sarah Ruhl, Airness by Chelsea Marcantel, and SEATTLE by Frank Garland.
Savaun Stokes (Rya)
Savaun Stokes (He/They) is a Chicago based actor, director, and teaching artist.
They studied acting at Chicago High School for The Arts and graduated with a BFA in acting from The University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.

Directing credits include two plays at the first Black Men Talk Playwrights Festival (MAN bites DOG)(The Bayard Rustin Arrest) New works with The Artistic Home’s Cut To The Chase, and assistant directing their Jeff Nominated production of By The Way Meet Vera Stark by Lynn Nottage.
Andie Dae (Mama Linda)
Andie Dae (she/her) was born in Memphis, TN, where she performed as Ruth in The Raisin the Sun. She completed her Bachelor's Degree for International Studies at University of Tennessee at Martin. In Indiana, she appeared in the debut production of ...before I wake…, and To Kill a Mockingbird before moving to the windy city in 2017. Here in Chicago, she continued her acting training at BLACKBOX Academy. She has performed as Isabelle in Measure for Measure with The Shakespeare Project of Chicago. She assistant directed the RedTwist production of its rave-reviewed show Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus. And most recently, she has been a participating contributor to the @microCHICAGO play series.
Diego Rivera Rodriguez (Immanuel)
Diego (he/him) is excited to be working with Subtext theatre for the first time.! He has most recently appeared in the ensemble of Winters Tale at Invictus Theatre, He has also recently appeared in Becky Nurse of Salem at Shattered globe, and the Young Playwrights Festival at Chicago Dramatists.
Jonathan Lee-Rey (Jesus)
Jonathan Lee-Rey (he/him/his) is an actor, writer, and filmmaker from Yonkers, NY. Currently, he is based in Chicago, where he is the Executive Artistic Director of Stir Friday Night, an iO theater teacher, and a cast member of Escándalo. Formerly, he was on the iO Harold team Velvet, made shorts with the iO Network team, Free Trial Run, and has trained at UCB, iO, Second City, The Magnet, The Harold Ramis Film School, and Skidmore College.
Lauren Littlejohn (Stage Directions)
LAUREN LITTLEJOHN (she/her) is an actor, stage manager, director, and lover of movement. She is proud to call Chicago her artistic home. Although she's usually sitting in the booth with a headset, she's rediscovering her creativity through acting. Lauren is thrilled to share stories that awaken her need for collective support through artistry.
